Satellite Awards: le film musical «Nine» nommé à 11 reprises

La comédie musicale «Nine» de Rob Marshall a été citée à 11 reprises en vue de la prochaine remise des Satellite Awards, prix décernés par la International Press Academy. En plus d'être nommée dans la catégorie «Meilleur film – comédie musicale ou comédie», cette oeuvre pourrait valoir une récompense à plusieurs de ses vedettes.

Les stars de «Nine» Penélope Cruz, Marion Cotillard et Daniel Day-Lewis pourraient remporter les honneurs pour leur performance dans la comédie musicale. Rob Marshall pourrait également décrocher la statuette du meilleur réalisateur.

«Red Cliff», une fresque historique de John Woo, a de son côté été nommée à sept reprises.

«The Young Victoria» du Québécois Jean-Marc Vallée a reçu deux citations. Emily Blunt pourrait notamment remporter le prix de la «Meilleure actrice dramatique».

Dans la catégorie du «Meilleur acteur dramatique», Jeff Bridges («Crazy Heart»), Hugh Dancy («Adam»), Johnny Depp («Public Enemies»), Colin Firth («A Single Man»), Jeremy Renner («The Hurt Locker») et Michael Sheen («The Damned United») ont été cités.

Chez les actrices dramatiques, outre Blunt, on retrouve Shohreh Aghdashloo («The Stoning of Soraya M.»), Abbie Cornish («Bright Star»), Penélope Cruz («Broken Embraces»), Carey Mulligan («An Education») et Catalina Saavedra («The Maid»).
