La formation Nickelback et le chanteur Danny Fernandes dominent les mises en nomination avec cinq citations chacun en vue de l'édition 2009 des MuchMusic Video Awards. L’événement sera diffusé sur MuchMusic le 21 juin prochain.

La formation Marianas Trench suit avec quatre citations.

Nickelback («Gotta Be Somebody»), Danny Fernandes («Private Dancer ») et Marianas Trench («Cross My Heart») s'affonteront notamment dans la catégorie du Meilleur vidéoclip avec k-os («4, 3, 2, 1») et The Stills («Being Here»).
