Queen: un album et un DVD en concert, un album hommage et une tournée nord-américaine

La formation Queen et le chanteur Paul Rodgers prévoient donner quelques spectacles dans certaines villes nord-américaines (Los Angeles, New York) d'ici la fin de l'année pour revenir au printemps prochain avec une tournée encore plus ambitieuse affirme le guitariste Brian May.

Au mois de septembre, la compagnie EMI lancera un album en concert enregistré lors d'un spectacle donné à Sheffield en Angleterre suivi par un DVD en octobre.

Par ailleurs, un album hommage à Queen intitulé KILLER QUEEN regroupant des artistes comme Gavin DeGraw, Jason Mraz, Joss Stone, Sum 41, Los Lobos, Eleven avec Josh Homme de Queens of the Stone Age et Breaking Benjamin sera disponible le 2 août prochain via Hollywood Records.

KILLER QUEEN contiendra deux versions de la pièce BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY dont une chantée par la formation Flaming Lips et l'autre interprétée par Constantine Maroulis, un pariticipant de American Idol, avec la distribution du spectacle musical de Las Vegas, WE WILL ROCK YOU.
